Since I’m playing my homemade AALIYAH mixtape today (one of
my favorites) I just want to share an observation I made a while back.
When she broke away from R. Kelly I thought her career
was over. It was nice while it lasted—next. But then she hooked up (and I mean
that in the most fundamental of ways) with Timbaland and made even more hits.
Most people only hook up with a good producer once and after
that ship has sailed so will their career Aaliyah was blessed enough to have a
second chance and succeeded. She was TRULY blessed. R.I.P. Baby Girl.
